The building originally had a round tower but most of this was taken down in 1790. Silver coins dating to Elizabeth 1 (1558-1603) and Charles 1 (1625-1649) were found in and around the church building. The building has been lovingly restored. Its interior shows the wonderful restored stonework and still conveys that feeling of awe and wonder at the history it holds, yet imparts such peace and calm. Map Link
