My Mum - Gertie McAnuff - is from Lisburn. She lived in Gregg Street and we spent many happy holidays there when I was younger. Mum is now 83 and we'd love to hear from anyone who remembers Mum or her sister Beryl, who sadly died in her 50's.

Hopefully you'll remember me Jim -I worked in the Niagara for years when I was at school. My sister Nicky also worked there and later she moved into your clothing shop.
What a laugh we used to have - Sandra Marley, Ursula Mulholland, Audrey Graham and Carol Belshaw. We were scared to death of victor keys! Do you remember the 'do' we had in the woodlands hotel when we dressed up as huala girls and sang 'fish & chips!!
I moved to Oxfordshire in 1990 then around other parts of England before moving here to Portsoy, Aberdeenshire in 2000. I am married to Doug have 2 daughters, Isla who is 15 and Anya 13 (late starter - most people my age are grandparents!) I run my own business called kidzzone where I travel around the schools in the north east of Scotland teaching a variety of fitness based classes for both pupils and teachers. I also run the only rope skipping club in Scotland(although this is voluntary work)we have won a ton of medals at the British championships and my daughter Isla qualified to represent Great Britain at the European masters in Hungary in October.
I would like to run some of my fitness workshops in Lisburn schools and do a tour of schools and leisure centres with my club 'skip 2 the beat' to help promote skipping as a sport. Do you or anyone else listed have any contacts with the school boards?
I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me.
