Ulster fry with Potato Bread Potato bread is very easy to make. Some left-over or boiled potatoes, finely mashed with a little milk or/and a well beaten egg. Add salt (optional) & flour to make a soft dough. Roll out to desired thickness in a round, cut into triangles, put in a tea-towel or greaseproof paper. Leave in fridge for an hour or even overnight. Fry gently, in a little butter. On the B.B.Q. you can cook them on the hotplate, flipping them over often. Try it. Yummy, a taste of Norn Ireland. 10/07/2007 |
