THE third 'Carols in the City' concert, 
				organised by the Lisburn City Centre Ministers' 
				Fellowship, will be held in the Lagan Valley Island on 
				Wednesday, December 14 at 7.30pm.
				The concert will bring together people from 
				all sections of our community to celebrate the message of 
				Christmas in a spirit of oneness and festive joy.
				Taking part will be: Garvey Silver Band, 
				Brownlee and St. Aloysius Primary School, Friends Grammar School 
				and St. Patrick's Folk Group. There will be opportunity for the 
				audience to sing many of their favourite Christmas Carols.
				The guest speaker will be Dr. Ken Newell, 
				former Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian 
				Church in Ireland.
				Proceeds
				Proceeds from the concert will be donated to Christian 
				Aid and Lisburn Inter-Church Sunday School and Young Adults 
				Group.
				This is a wonderful opportunity in the 
				pleasant surrounding of the Lagan Valley Island Centre to reach 
				across community divides and share the message of the love of 
				Christ.
