Since January this year, Crown Jesus Ministries has been working with the support of 20 churches in the Lisburn area. Their outreach work has been wide spread serving both the church and the community. Regular readers of the Ulster Star and www.lisburn.com will have seen reports and pictures from many events in which they have been involved including: ‘If my people...’ prayer evening in the Leisureplex, ‘Street Reach’ a community action programme, ‘One-Way’ youth outreach and ‘Kids Alive’ celebration for 7-11 year olds.

During May, many of our local churches have become ‘Alive’ in outreach with banners outside churches advertising events including: Guest services, coffee mornings, fun days and sports services. But, central to these outreach events is next weeks ‘Jesus is Alive’ event in the Lagan Valley Island. The three-night joint church venture will be held from Monday 22nd May to Wednesday 24th May. Local musicians will lead the praise and the Crown Jesus Ministries team will present the Gospel in a powerful yet relevant way. Please make a special effort to attend these nights and invite friends, work colleagues, neighbours to accompany you. Each evening begins at 7.30pm and admission is free.
