Children’s and Young People’s Day Services were held in Hillhall Presbyterian Church on Sunday 11th June.  At the morning Children’s Day Service, the minister, the Rev Jack Richardson, welcomed the congregation and gave the call to worship.  Robert Preshaw, Rosie Curry and Sarah Watt offered prayers; Kathryn Campbell and Debbie Preshaw were storytellers; and Stephen Kerr and Philip Poots narrated the Story of Jesus with Marcus Hart and Alex Sleator as aliens.  Summing up, the Rev Jack Richardson brought the challenge of the life and death of Jesus before the congregation.

At a Uniformed Youth Service on Sunday evening, Largymore School Music Group were the special guests.  After the reception of colours, the Rev Jack Richardson welcomed the congregation and the assistant minister, the Rev Craig Wilson, gave the call to worship.  Stephen Kerr and Katherine Tolerton offered prayers; Emma and Jonathan Gillespie read the Scripture lessons; the C.E. Singing Group sang ‘In Christ Alone’; and David Beck spoke about what Jesus means to him.  In his address, guest speaker Jonathan Todd spoke about - ‘Stepping Out in Faith’.

Following light refreshments in the Church Hall, Russell Andrews gave a slide presentation of Youth Service coverage in the congregation.
