Legacurry team�s missionary outreach work in West Africa

Conductor John Henry and Bawn Silver Band, Aughnacloy, who played at a Fundraising barbeque held in Legacurry Presbyterian Church on Friday 16th June to raise money for missionary outreach work in Burkina Faso, West Africa helping with building projects.

Five members of Legacurry Presbyterian Church will spend 2 weeks missionary outreach work in Burkina Faso, West Africa helping with building projects. Mervyn McVeigh, John Urey, Adam Thompson, Chris Kinghan and Reggie Clarke will leave on Saturday 8th July and are the third team from Legacurry to take part in the churches ongoing work in the area. The work carried out by the previous teams included: helping to build school classrooms, planting trees and drilling seven wells. Fundraising events for the trip included a great night of fun and fellowship at a barbeque held in the church grounds on Friday 16th June.
