Wife of former Moderator is guest speaker at Railway Street PWA

Mrs Hazel Clarke, wife of wife of former Moderator Very Rev Dr David Clarke (former Moderator of the General Assembly) was the guest speaker at Railway Street Presbyterian Church branch of the Presbyterian Women's Association last Thursday night (20th September). Mrs Clarke, who was accompanied by her husband, gave the ladies an interesting talk entitled 'My year as first lady' sharing her experiences of the past year while accompanying her husband at home and abroad during his term as Moderator.

The opening meeting of the 2007-2008 session saw the beginning of the term of office for new office bearers: Elma Lindsay - President, Phyllis Spence - Vice President, Anna Toombs - Secretary and Jean Murray - Treasurer.
