Special service and lunch mark Zold family return to Transylvania

Len Murray presents a framed copy of a painting (by local artist Jason Kelly) of Railway Street Presbyterian Church, to the Zold Family - Imre, Noemi, 2-year-old Vera and baby Dora, who returned to Transylvania on Wednesday 15th August. Looking on (back row) is the Rev Bob Lockhart - Pastoral Minister of Railway Street and Gordon Lindsay - Clerk of Session.

The Rev Imre Zold, a minister serving with the Hungarian Reformed Church in Romania, has been worshipping at Railway Street Presbyterian Church during the past year while studying at Union Theological College in Belfast. Having now completed his studies he and his family returned to Transylvania on Wednesday 15th August. To mark the occasion, Len Murray, a Railway Street Elder, presented Imre and his wife Noemi with a framed copy of a painting (by local artist Jason Kelly) of Railway Street Presbyterian Church following morning worship on Sunday 12th August. The presentation was followed by lunch in the Church Hall providing Imre and Noemi the opportunity to say farewell to their many friends at Railway Street, especially those who took a personal interest in Imre's academic training and development and also the many people with whom he and his family shared Sunday lunch each week following morning worship.
