Over 200 children and young people packed Lisburn Baptist Church
Hall on Monday 20th to Friday 24th August for a Holiday Bible
Club 'Wize Kidz'. Led by Stephen Spence and an enthusiastic team
of leaders, the week of Christian teaching included Bible
stories, quizzes, singing, competitions and prizes. The church
bus collected children from Tonagh, Knockmore, Manor, Inniscairn,
Old Warren, Hill Street and Jubilee Avenue, further adding to
the fun and fellowship. On Friday evening the children, young
people and parents attended a BBQ and enjoyed hot dogs, burgers,
crisps, cakes and drinks prepared and served by the leaders and
members of the congregation.
Parents are reminded that Sunday School recommences in Lisburn
Baptist on Sunday 9th September at 10.00am, catering for
children age 3 to 10 years with older ones age 10 to 14 catered
for in the 'Sunday Morning Live' group. The children's meetings
recommence on Thursday 13th September at 6.30pm. All are welcome
