A PACKED St. Mark's Parish Church, Ballymacash, witnessed an evening of great variety and superb musical performances from four of the province's top artistes. In a programme to suit all tastes, the audience was treated to music ranging from Schubert's

'Shepherd on the Rock' to the haunting theme from the film Schindler's List to Danzi's Clarinet concert piece in G minor and jazz classics 'Smoke gets in your eyes' and 'Moondance.

Jonathan Rea nrought humour to the evening with his performance of Mrs Beamish. The evening was rounded off with the violin showpiece 'Czardas' by Vittorio Monti. With huge thanks to AA Music for the loan of their beautiful Kawai grand piano, the concert realised a profit of over £1000 for the Church's new roof project.
