THIS year's Holiday Bible Club at Magheragall Parish Church proved to be a great success, with a team of 30 leaders/helpers and a strong attendance of 67 primary school children.
The theme throughout the week was focused on God's Power, specifically God's Power over Nature, Sin and Sickness. Each night the children learnt about various stories related to that night's theme which included Jesus Calming the Storm, Jonah and the Whale and lastly the Paralysed Man.
As children arrived each evening they were welcomed by colourful wall displays, games and music and as the night proceeded Fred and Sally Magheragall's very own puppets called by to say hello.
By the end of each evening fun and laughter could be heard by parents outside as children ended with a song and a march around the hall
The week long activities were a great reflection for team Leaders Jill Belshaw and Gemma Ruddy who were involved in a kid's club in Uganda this time last year, and who had helped adapt the programme that had been used there to fit in alongside the week's events.
