							| Melanie taking part n the run | Husband Donald and daughter Zoe congratulate Melanie at the end
 | A LISBURN mum has raised over 1,000 for the
Coronary Care Unit at the Downe Hospital as a thank you after an
off duty nurse from the unit came to the aid of her father when
he had a heart attack. Melanie Minshull donned her running shoes and
took part in the Lisburn Half Marathon to raise the money. Her dad had a heart attack at Dundrum car
boot sale several months ago and a passing off duty nurse from
Downe gave hime CPR until an ambulance arrived and took him to
the hospital. Melanie managed to encourage her husband
Donald and daughter Zoe to do the fun run on the same night.
Other daughter Hannah missed out as she was away on a school
outdoor activity trip to Ardnabannon. Ulster Star25/07/2008
