NEW canoe club has formed in the city and is encouraging new
members to join.
Members from Northern Ireland's newest canoe
club, Lisburn City Paddlers, have paddled the Liffey Descent.
Lisburn City Paddlers are based at Glenmore Activity Centre at
Hilden beside the River Lagan.
The club try to meet most Saturdays but due
to a small membership at the moment it is not always possible to
organise something for every week and that is why the club is on
the look out for new members.
They have also developed a website
www.lisburncitypaddlers.com to keep the Lisburn canoeing
community updated.
Membership forms, both individual and family,
can be downloaded from the website.
