TWO members of staff from Pond Park Primary School are bracing themselves for the London half marathon.
Joanne Cherry and her sister Gillian Patterrson have been training for a year and are both very excited about the run which takes place this Sunday.
The ladies are heavily involved in volunteer work for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust as a member of their family suffers from the condition. And if all goes well London they are considering training for the Belfast marathon next year.
