Sandra is first female president of Lisburn

A LISBURN businesswoman has been elected as
the first female president of the Rotary Club of Lsiburn in its
Sandra McCabe, who owns Oasis Travel, took up
the post last Friday watched by members of her family.
It was made even more special as Sandra's late
father, Leslie, was a stalwart of the club for many years.
"I feel privileged and honoured to take up the
position," she said.
Sandra joined Rotary five years ago when an
invitation to join the club was extended to women.

She also said it was her intention to
continue to encourage close involvement with the community
during her year in office.

the members has been outstanding and I am looking forward to my
