Installations of District Officers at Dromore Orange Hall

Representatives from the 23 lodges of Lower Iveagh District L.O.L. No. 1 and visitors from as far afield as Co. Monaghan attended a meeting in Dromore Orange Hall last Wednesday evening (9th January) for the annual installation of District Officers.  Bro Victor Harrison (County Grand Master) conducted the installations assisted by Bro Samuel Walker (Deputy County Grand Master) and Bro Robert Barr (County Grand Lecturer).  The following officers were installed: Worshipful District Master - Bro Eric Jess, Deputy District Master - Bro Jonathan Mattison, District Secretary - Bro David Hobson, Assistant District Secretary - Alan Wilson, District Treasurer - Bro Harold Graham, District Lay Chaplain - Bro Robert Murphy, District Tyler - Bro Norman Dewart, Lecturers - Bro Harold Graham and Bro Alan Jess, and Committee - Bro Jim Wilkinson, Bro Drew Nelson, Bro Billy Campbell and Bro Alan Wilson.

 Following the installations, the County Grand Master, Mr Harrison, thanked the Worshipful District Master, Bro Eric Jess, for his invitation and went on to speak of the need to maintain and add to membership of the Orange Institution.
