SAINTFIELD High School students have been doing their bit for charity.

Rather than taking part in a normal school formal, the Year 12 students decided to turn it into a fundraising event to support Musyoka, the Kenyan child already being sponsored by the school.

A committee of seven students Matthew Clarke (Head Boy), Emma Morrow (Head Girl), Ashleigh Hampton, Ana Howard, Mark Robinson, Michael Shannon and Jessica Spence were responsible for organising the Charity Ball which was held in the Hilton Hotel in Belfast and raised enough money to sponsor Musyoka for a complete year.
