CADETS from 817 Squadron Air Training Corps in Lisburn received certificates of training at a recent parents evening. The event was held to recognise the achievements of the Squadron over the last year.

Over 20 certificates were handed out for training including four BTEC Intermediate Certificates and five BTEC Intermediate Awards in Aviation Studies.

"These qualifications are accredited by Edexcel and are together equivalent to three GCSEs grade A-C. It's an excellent way to reward the cadets for their efforts in training and certainly one for the parents to be proud of." said Flying Officer Brian Christy RAFVR(T).
