SAMANTHA GregorySAMANTHA Gregory, 20, spent a week in the Star's editorial department finding out what goes on. She is a media studies student at Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education and works part time at Lisburn Omniplex.

What do you like doing on your day off?

Relaxing. watching TV or writing.

If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be, where and why?

I would choose lemon chicken from the Orient Express because it is lovely.

What has been your proudest moment?

Becoming a member of the Student Union and all the work we did last year.

What was the most frightening moment of your life?

When I had my appendix removed at the age of six.

How would you describe your taste in clothes? What's the most you ever spent on a single item of clothing?

Casual and comfortable. The most I've ever spent is �35 on a coat.

What would you do if you won a million pounds?

Give money to my mum. get myself a car and pay off all my bills.

What was your most embarrassing moment?

I was embarrassed when I started talking to a person I thought was somebody else.

What music do you like? Pink.

Green Day and Kelly Clarkson.

What famous person do you most admire?

Katie Price, as she is a career woman and still manages to be a good mother.

Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream holiday be?

A day trip to Newcastle with my mum and sisters. My dream holiday would be to go to Greece but I don't like flying.

What is your greatest remaining ambition?

To become a journalist.

If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you choose?

Kelly Clarkson.

If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you want with you?

My mobile, MP3 player and something to read.
