Catherine WoodsCatherine Woods, 19, is an aspiring photographer and was on placement with the Star recently. She has just completed a foundation year in the studies of art and design at the University of Ulster and spent a week at The Star. She loves music and plays the piano as well as being a member of a Brass Band.

What do you like doing on your day oft?
A good day off would start with a nice lie-in, followed by a good breakfast and off to do some shopping, preferably on a lovely sunny day, but that very rarely happens.

If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be, where and why?
My favourite meal would consist of pasta, anything with pasta and it would be somewhere sunny.

What has been your proudest moment?
I think my proudest moment would be passing my Grade 8 in piano, I spent a great deal of time and put a lot of effort into preparing for it and its great that it all paid off.

What was the most frightening moment of your life?
I think the most frightening moment, so far, was when I witnessed a friend's epileptic fit...wasn't pleasant.

How would you describe your taste in clothes?
I think I have a pretty normal taste in clothes, I really love experimenting with different styles but usually it just depends what mood I'm in and how much time I have to get ready.

What would you do if you won a million pounds?
Faint. And then go on a long, exotic holiday.

What was your most embarrassing moment?
Unfortunately I've had too many embarrassing moments...one of which involved me playing a 'bum-note' at the end of a piece of music at a band concert. I had a red face for a long time afterwards.

What music do you like?
I like a lot of different types of music. I love The Beatles, The Who, Amy Winehouse and Brass Bands!

What sports person do you most admire?
I'm not a big follower of sports, but I've always admired Pippa Funnell and Zara Phillips for their achievements.

Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream holiday be?
My best holiday would have been my holiday to London. My dream holiday would be to Russia, I've always had a fascination with the country.

What is your greatest remaining ambition?
My greatest remaining ambition is to learn another language, like French or Spanish.

If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you choose?
I would choose Jeremy Clarkson, he's a funny man.

If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you want with you?
A piano, an ipod and a trunk of good books.
