Clougherty, 35, who is in remission from testicular cancer
will run the Edinburgh marathon later this month to raise
money for the Everyman cancer charity. He lives in Lisburn
with his wife Jennifer and three children Cieran 11, Rhys 10
and Niamh 4 and is originally from Clydebank.
What do you like doing on your day off?
I love playing, coaching and watching football. I am
also partial to the odd game of golf.
If you were to choose your favourite meal
what would it be, where and why?
Steak and chips with pepper sauce from any good steak
What has been your proudest moment?
The birth of my three children and my wife being
accepted at Queen's University for the Midwifery course

I would take the family to Disney World and make a
donation towards cancer research.

I'm to embarrassed to say.

What sports person do you admire?
Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong who recovered from
cancer to win the race several times.
Describe your best ever holiday.
My favourite was a family holiday in Aviemore in 2006.
It was my first holiday since being treated for testicular
cancer. Disney World would be brilliant to go to so I could
see the look of enjoyment on my kids' faces.
What is your greatest ambition?
To enjoy the things that I once took for granted and
complete the Edinburgh Marathon.
