VICTORIA Dowds, 25, from Lisburn recently obtained a Masters degree in Human Rights Law from the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. She has now been accepted on the Washington Ireland Program after being selected from more than 350 applicants, and will be flying out to Washington D.C. June 4 to complete an internship on Capitol Hill, Victoria is hoping this experience will not only give her the skills but also the confidence to run for political office in the future
What was the most frightening moment of your life?
Having to give a presentation about my life to class 2011 of the Washington Ireland Program, as it was quite personal and I had never spoke about myself in such detail in public before.
How would you describe your taste in clothes?
I love anything vintage and anything 80's
What would you do if you won a million pounds?
Most likely spend it all on designer clothes, travelling and fast cars
What was your most embarrassing moment?
Nothing I can share with the readers of the Ulster Star.
What music do you like?
Anything Rock, my favourite bands are Oasis, Bruce Springsteen and The Beatles.
What sports person do you most admire?
I don't know much about sport, so I'm going to go with David Beckham for obvious reasons.
Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream holiday be?
My best ever holiday was when I went to New York with my friend Adele when I was 18. My dream holiday would be to travel to New Zealand as it looks so beautiful.
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
To go travelling and see more of the world

My iPod, a motorboat and Johnny Depp
