A Ray of Hope, UNESCO Youth Ambassador for the Culture of Peace, is an
international non-governmental organization that is continually looking
to assist children in the developing world. A Ray of Hope consists of
teachers and children from Fleming Fulton, Assumption Grammar, Largymore
Primary, Dromore High, Forthill College and Grosvenor Grammar.
After
their appointment by UNESCO the schools vowed to raise $200,000 worth of
supplies over 4 years ---- this target has now been surpassed and 5
years on $5 million worth of supplies have been delivered to 501 schools
and organizations in 40 countries.
Recently we have acquired a substantial amount of new educational
supplies covering the breadth of the curriculum suitable for ages 4 to
16 and would only be too pleased to share our good fortune with those
who care.
