St Hilda�s, Kilmakee Parish Diocesan Layreader to train for the ministry

Johnny McLoughlinJohnny McLoughlin, a Diocesan Layreader from St Hilda�s, Kilmakee Parish, Dunmurry, will commence his training for the ministry at the Church of Ireland Theological College, Dublin on Saturday 23rd September.  He was commissioned to serve as Diocesan Layreader in St Hilda�s, at a service in St Peter�s Church, Belfast on Thursday 29th June 2006 and plans to continue these duties at Kilmakee each Sunday during his three years of ministerial training.

Johnny, from Wallace Avenue, Lisburn, is married to Kim and has two children, Naomi (9) and Ben (4).  For the past two years he has been employed as Office Administrator at the Church of Ireland Gazette Office at Pim House, the former Y Club building, in Wallace Avenue, Lisburn.

The Rector, the Rev David Boyland and the parishioners of St Hilda�s wish Johnny and his family God�s richest blessing and assure them of their prayers and support in this new venture.
