Legacurry Presbyterian Historical Group held an Open Day at Legacurry Presbyterian Church on Monday 15th May. The event was organised by Legacurrys Historical Group and featured many interesting displays of photographs and articles relating to the history of Legacurry Presbyterian Church and the surrounding area. The special feature at this years annual event was a display showing the congregations work in Burkina Faso, West Africa, which includes: helping to build school classrooms, planting trees and drilling seven wells The proceeds raised from this event will be used to help pay the fees of two schoolgirls at Bandawe School, Malawi and also towards the churches ongoing work in Burkina Faso. The congregation plans to send another small team to Burkina Faso this summer to help with building projects.
