Scouting awards presented at GSL meeting in St Mark�s

The Scouts GSL meeting was held in St Mark�s Church, Ballymacash last Monday night to continue to co-ordinate plans for the centenary celebrations in 2007 - the most important year in the long history of the movement.  The District Commissioner, Noel Irwin, welcomed all scout leaders present and during the distribution of awards he presented a certificate to Alan Toole in recognition of his outstanding service to scouting at Hillhall Scout Group and Volunteering Achievement certificates in recognition of dedication, commitment and contribution as a scout leader to:  Mervyn Fleming -1^st Derriaghy Scout Group, Lawrence Hook - 1^st Anahilt Scout Group, Joe Clydesdale - St Columba�s Scout Group and Paul Clydesdale - 1^st Hilden Scout Group.
