Lisburn Causeway Group host Regional Celebration in Trinity Methodist

Lisburn Causeway Group hosted a Regional Celebration in Trinity Methodist Church last Saturday afternoon (10th November). The Causeway groups support adults with learning disability in their faith and the celebration was an opportunity for all the groups in Northern Ireland and visitors to get together. With an estimated 33,000 people with learning disability in Northern Ireland, the Lisburn group are keen to encourage more people to become involved and are inviting visitors to come and experience this inclusive ministry for themselves.

The day started with lunch followed by three accessible workshops and finishing with a praise time with some guest musicians. The special guest was the Deputy Mayor Councillor Ronnie Crawford who was accompanied by his wife Jean.

Lisburn Causeway Group meets in Wallace Avenue on Mondays at 8.00pm.
