				The Rector, the Rev Donna Quigley welcomed the many girls, 
				parents and guests that packed St Columba's Church, Belsize 
				Road, Lisburn for the 42nd annual Derryvolgie Parish Girls' 
				Brigade Display on Friday 25th April. The Captain, Karen Henry 
				gave a brief report of the girls' activities and achievements 
				and welcomed parents to what she described as, ' a window 
				through which you have the opportunity to see the results of 
				some of the hard work of the officers and girls throughout the 
				year'. She went on to thank the Rector and Select Vestry for 
				their encouragement and support and gave a special thanks to her 
				guest Jack Hassard, who presented the awards and Jonathan 
				Acheson who presided at the keyboard.
 The programme included: 'Skipping' by Beth, Samantha and Nicole; 
				'Locomotion' - Tiny Tots; 'Breakdown', 'Stop right now' and 
				'Hoops' - Explorers; 'Teddy Bears Picnic' and 'Games' - Tiny 
				Tots and Explorers; 'Marching', 'High School Musical' and 'World 
				in Union' - Juniors; 'PE' - Seniors; PE - Brigaders and 'Girls 
				night in' - Seniors and Brigaders.
