Celebrations mark 50th Anniversary
of Cargycreevy Ladies Fellowship

A WEEKEND of celebration at Cargycreevy Presbyterian Church marked the 50th Anniversary of Cargycreevy Ladies Fellowship.
On Saturday evening (November 28), a reception and dinner was held in the Church Hall attended by former PWA branch presidents Mrs Anne Reid, Mrs Maxine McConagh, Miss Beth Bell and Mrs. Phyllis Spence (PW Home Vice President). On Sunday morning Mrs Margaret Todd, Cargycreevy PW Branch Leader, led a special PW service. Miss Sonya McCullagh, Deaconess of Shore Street Presbyterian Church, Donaghadee was the guest speaker and Mrs Phyllis Spence, PW Home Vice President spoke about the work of PW both at home and overseas. Mrs Vera Crawford presided at the organ and together with the church choir led the celebratory praise that included the anthem, 'My Jesus I love Thee.
