4th Lisburn Guides raise money for children with leukaemia

'Come fly with me, lets fly, lets fly away’ as leaders Heather Bittle, Renee Reid, Sarah Lindsay, Bee Yen Toh and Barbara McKee join in the fun at a ‘Paper Plane Challenge’ last Monday 23rd February in a fundraising event in aid of the charity ‘Children with leukaemia’.

4th Lisburn Rainbow and Brownie Guides took part in a ‘Paper Plane Challenge’ on Monday 23rd February in a fundraising event in aid of the charity ‘Children with leukaemia’. During the evening they designed, constructed and decorated their own paper plane; then held their own air show, awarding certificates for furthest flown, most exciting and prettiest plane. Nell Sinclair and Sophie Blythe’s plane flew the furthest; Ella Agnew and Erin Frazer created the most exciting plane and Olivia Lancaster and Victoria Walker created the prettiest plane. Not to be outdone, Rainbow Guide leaders Barbara McKee and Bee Yen Toh and Brownie Guide leaders - Sarah Lindsay, Renee Reid and Heather Bittle also took part with paper plane pilot Bee Yen taking the honours for the plane that flew the furthest.
