Broomhedge/Priesthill Methodist Women in Ireland held their annual service in Broomhedge Methodist Church last Sunday morning (26th April). Judith Lilley gave the welcome at the door. Anita Gracie (President) led the service and welcomed the congregation and visitors and gave a special welcome to the guest speaker, Sandra Ker, who gave the address and told the children’s story. Terry Lilley read the announcements; Mary McKeag read the Scripture lesson; Norma Stafford and Carol Gordon led the prayers; Helen Fullerton, Helen McKendry and Linda Fullerton performed a sketch based on the women at the empty tomb; and Moyra Megarry read a meditation.

Mary Spence presided at the organ, the hymns included, ‘Tell out my soul’, All things bright and beautiful’, ‘May the mind of Christ my Saviour’, and ‘Christ is alive’.

The offering was taken by Rosemary Boyes and Annie Whittington. Anita Gracie brought the annual service to a successful close as she pronounced the benediction.
