Largymore Primary steps back in time

A GLANCE BACK FOR PUPILS AS SCHOOL PLANS FOR THE FUTURE

STAFF and pupils at Largymore Primary School took a step back in time recently to mark an important milestone in the school's history.

This year Largymore Primary is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a series of events throughout the year.

At the end of the school term, pupils and staff donned Victorian garb for a special 'Victorian Day ' at the school to celebrate the anniversary.

As well as dressing up, the children enjoyed Irish stew for lunch and had the opportunity to play with some toys from years gone by. Largymore pupils were also joined in their celebrations by children from the Metta Centre in Nepal, which is linked with the Lisburn school.
