Pat and Nelson Williams
cut their 50th wedding anniversary cake,
rekindling memories of one they cut some 50
years ago when they were married on 17th
October 1957.
Former Lisburn couple Nelson and Pat Williams enjoyed a most
memorable evening as they celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary at the Ivanhoe Hotel, Carryduff last Friday night
(12th October). Bakerloo Junction provided a great mix of live
music that included When you were sixteen allowing the couple
to recall many happy memories of bygone days.
Catherine OReilly presented cards and gifts to Nelson and Pat on
behalf of the band and a supply of anniversary cake and
champagne added to the great party atmosphere.
The couple, who now live in Carryduff, were married on 17th
October 1957. They will continue their celebrations this week as
they enjoy a romantic coach holiday to Nottingham where they
will stay for four-nights in a castle on the edge of the famous
Sherwood Forest.
