LISBURN man Aaron Kirk set off on a once in a
lifetime adventure at the weekend when he boarded a plane bound
for India.
Aaron, together with 23 other people from
Northern Ireland, left Belfast for the sub continent, where he
will be trekking in the Himalayas, all in the name of charity.
Aaron and his fellow trekkers raised over 3,000
each for Action Cancer and the money will be used to fund the
life saving work of the charity.
Whilst in India Aaron will be spending ten days
trekking in the the world's highest mountain range, which
spreads over 1,550 miles across South Asia, and is home to the
world's tallest mountain, Mount Everest.
