group for Northern Ireland Hospice Care, Irene and John

McMullan present a cheque for �12,750 to Katie
Setterfield, Fundraising Manager for the charity. The
money was raised through the groups fundraising efforts

MEMBERS of the Northern Ireland Hospice Care,
Lisburn Area Support Group have presented a cheque for a
whopping �12,750 to head office.
The money was raised through carol singing,
collections, and sales of reindeer food among other events.
Fundraising manager for Northern Ireland Hospice
Care, Katie Setterfield, commented: "The Lisburn group have
worked tirelessly to raise this fantastic total.
"Northern Ireland Hospice Care depends
heavily on the work of our local support groups and the
generosity of the public to help us raise funds of more than
�6million pounds each year. This donation will go a long way to
help us continue our work caring for adults and children with
life limiting illnesses, both locally in the Lisburn area and
across Northern Ireland.
"Our staff provide pain relief and symptom
control as well as emotional and practical support to the whole
family during a difficult time."
