A HILLSBOROUGH hairdresser is leading the way in international
hair trends.
Shane Bennett, of the Shane Bennett Salon, has just flown back
from Australia where he was presenting on hair trends for 2008.
Australia's biggest trade show for hairdressers, Hair Expo,
invited Shane to the event in Sydney.
Shane presented what he believes will be the key looks for 2008.
He said: "The key looks, are all very graphic with lots of
disconnection. The end result are quirky and quite unusual hair
cuts. The styles are a variation on this season's must-have
1920's inspired bob, or 'pob' as it became when Victoria Beckham
revealed her haircut at the beginning of the year."
He continued: "It was an honour to be invited to the prestigious
awards and I was very impressed with the excellent standard of
hairdressing. The Australians are most certainly on-par with the
quality of hairdressing in the UK."
Shane has been invited back to Sydney in January 2008 to present
at the Australian Hairdressers Congress.
