A LITTLE girl from Lisburn has shown that charity really does begin at home, when she made a very special donation to the Make-AWish Foundation.
Lydia Campbell (8), a pupil at Downshire Primary, heard about the Mayors Charity after her parents attended the Mayors Dinner last year and she was so impressed by the work of the charity she decided to do something to help them.

"On my birthday I asked my friends to give money to the charity, instead of buying me presents," she explained. "My friends thought it was a good idea and I was happy to help. "I would like to thank my friends for donating the money," she added.
