MENINGITIS Research Foundation mascot Marvin is revving up for the Foundations second Mini Meander event which takes place at Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park on Saturday, September 13.

Marvin is taking to the road with the help of Foundation member Nichola Hoy from Dundonald to get the kiddies on board for what should be a great family day out.

Kids will enjoy a one mile sponsored Meander with Marvin as well as colouring in, balloon modelling, treasure hunt and much more.

Nichola tragically lost her sister Leeann to septicaemia in the year 2000 and has been supporting the Foundation ever since.

All participants will be provided with life saving literature, goodie bags and refreshments on the day.
