Staff say farewell to retiring colleagues

STAFF and Governors from The Wallace High School recently gathered at the Dunadry Hotel to celebrate the end of another successful year and to bid farewell to a number of colleagues.

Members of staff retiring are Vice Principal Brian Bloomfield along with Carolyn Gowdy, Sandra Clokey, Mary McKay, Sara Neill and John Clokey.

Maths Teacher Richard Daniels is leaving Wallace to take up a new position as Head of Department in Down High School.

Following a drinks reception, guests enjoyed a meal before presentations were made by Principal Mrs Anne McBride.

The evening concluded with dancing to the Victor Currie Band.
