Internationally renowned diamond
dealer, Fraser Brown, from New York joined Elizabeth
to help celebrate her diamond success.
A DUNMURRY woman is the lucky owner of a one carat diamond
after she won the gem as part of Diet Coke's Diamond promotion.
Elizabeth McCormick, 35, was one of ten fortunate winners from
Northern Ireland who scooped a jewel from the sparkling diamond
prize pot. The shipping manager for Lisburn firm Kelman, was
on her lunch break when she bought the winning bottle from the
Centra store in Culcavy. The mother of one explained: "I have
only ever been to the store twice in my life. I went to get some
sandwiches for lunch and bought a diet coke too. "It wasn't
until a few hours later that I pulled back the label which said
I was a winner. I just thought this can't be true' but the next
day I called to find out more and was told that I had won a
diamond. "A courier collected the paperwork and then me and
the other winners were treated to a lovely reception in the
Merchant Hotel." Internationally renowned diamond dealer,
Fraser Brown, from New York joined Elizabeth and the other
Northern Ireland winners in Belfast to help celebrate their
phenomenal success. Originally from Co. Down, the diamond
specialist hosted a private consultation with each winner to
determine the best piece of jewellery to showcase their gem.
Elizabeth has decided to have her diamond made into a stylish
ring. She said: "I can't wait to get my ring. I am ecstatic."
