 TWO
local children had a summer holiday with a difference this year
when they took on the Four Peak Challenge, climbing the UKs four
highest peaks.
Chloe (11) and Dean Howes (14), both of whom
are students at Friends School Lisburn, completed the Four Peaks
- Slieve Donard, Ben Nevis, Mount Snowdon and Scarfell Pike -
with their father Charlie during the school holidays.
They began by climbing a very wet Slieve
Donard, before making it to the snowy top of Ben Nevis. They
then travelled to the Lake District to summit Scarfell Pike and
finished
their challenge on Mount Snowdon. All in all
the Lisburn family had a great time, and Chloe and Dean are
already looking forward to what dad has in store for them next
year!
