THE
Mayor of Lisburn, Councillor Ronnie Crawford, was the special
guest at St Aloysius Primary recently to unveil a commemorative
school logo marking the 40th anniversary of the school.
On behalf of the City Council and the people
of Lisburn, Councillor Crawford thanked Principal Patsy McClean,
staff and pupils for their warm welcome, "Today's engagement
will rank amongst the most memorable of my Mayoral year," he
said.
During his visit Mr Crawford was entertained
by the school's choir and orchestra. He was also treated to a
trip down memory lane by the Primary Five children who
highlighted some of the major world events since 1968.
Mr Crawford wished Mr McClean every success
in the forthcoming celebrations, "You have a school of which you
can be proud and I thank you for inviting me as your special
guest on this memorable occasion" he said.
