THE first hotel to be opened since Lisburn became a city is gearing up for its official opening.
Last week history was created as the Premier Inn hotel opened its doors to the general public - but it will be next Thursday (September 24) before the official launch. Situated on the Hillsborough Road, the new establishment with an adjoining Table Table family restaurant, has created 50 full and parttime positions.
Jill Moore, General Manager of the new Premier Inn hotel and Table Table restaurant, said: "We're delighted with the calibre of staff we've recruited through the open days we held in June and we re all looking forward to greeting guests and diners in the coming weeks."
