TEN teams took part in the Lisburn & District Cub Expandite Shield competition on Friday February 6. The Expandite Shield is a competition in which the Cubs battle it out to complete a variety of bases / activities of both a mental and physical skills within a given time scale.
Each team has to try to get the highest score at each base and at the end of the night they were placed from 1st - 10th on each, with their pacing's then totalled up.
The team with the lowest score at the end were the winners.
This year there was a very clear winning team from 2nd Lisburn Wallace School.
Second place went to 4th Lisburn Friends School who were closely followed home in third place by 6th Lisburn.
The next event will be the District finals for the 5-a-side football.
The date for this eagerly awaited event is still to be confirmed.
Well done to all those who took part in the Expandite Shield and thanks goes from the District to 1st Ballymacash and St Marks Church for hosting the competition.
