Friends hold fundraising night in memory of Aaron

Aaron MontgomeryA FUNDRAISING night has been organised in memory of Moira man Aaron Montgomery, who died in an incident outside a Belfast nightclub in February 2008.

The night, which will raise funds for the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, has been organised by Aaron's cousins and will be held in Chesters Nightclub, Moira on Thursday February 5.

23-year-old Aaron, who worked at the News Letter in Portadown, died following an incident after night out with friends.

Aaron's cousin Jill Bradley said that Aaron was very fond of children and that the charity would have been very close to his heart.

Entertainment on the night will be provided by Rio, The Bizz, This Way Up, Andrew Hann, DJ Colin Taylor and Cool FM's Farmer Andy.

Tickets cost £5 or £6 for entry at the door. Door open at 9pm for the over 18 only event.
