LOCAL companies JP Corry and Bassetts have joined forces to celebrate the launch of their new partnership with local hospices, Northern Ireland Hospice, Foyle Hospice and Southern Area Hospice Services as part of the nationwide 'Together' charity campaign in support of Help the Hospices, the leading charity supporting hospice care throughout the UK and Ireland. Staff from Bassetts and JP Corry presented the Hospices with a host of sunflowers for patients to enjoy. The gesture symbolised the commitment between the organisations to work together over the coming year in support of local hospice care.

The 'Together' campaign was set up by parent company Saint-Gobain Building Distribution (SGBD) in 2002, to raise money for worthy causes across the UK and Ireland. The initiative has already raised £1.6 million, with this year set to be the biggest and best yet. The funds raised locally by employees will be donated to their local hospice and will go towards providing vital care and support for patients with terminal or life limiting illnesses and their families.
