At a meeting of Lord Arthur Hill Memorial LOL 144 held in Arthur Street Orange Hall, Hillsborough  on Wednesday 21st January, the installation of office bearers was conducted by Bro Alan Finn (Worshipful District Master) and Bro James Magee (Deputy District Master) of Hillsborough District LOL No 19. Newly appointed office bearers and committee members for 2009 are as follows: Bro Rodney Turkington (Worshipful Master), Bro Robert Hanna jnr (Deputy Master), Bro Andrew Ewing (Chaplin), Bro Charlie Campbell (Assistant Chaplain), WBro Harry Shortt PM (Secretary), WBro Francis Hughes PM (Treasurer), WBro Alan Finn PM WDM (First Committee), Bro Raymond Finn (Second Committee), WBro Robert Davis PDM (Third Committee), Bro Harry Riddle (Fourth Committee), WBro Robert Hanna PM (Fifth Committee) and WBro Mark Riddle PM (Lecturer).

Bro Alan Finn, Worshipful District Master of Hillsborough District LOL No 19 presented 50-year service jewels to his father Bro William Finn, his uncle Bro Robert Finn, Bro Kenneth Riddle and Bro Harry Riddle. Following the presentations and installations, the secretary, WBro Harry Shortt PM, thanked the members for their attendance and gave a special thanks to all who assisted in the installation ceremony. He went on to congratulate the four long serving brethren who received their 50-year jewels on this historic evening. The treasurer, WBro Francis Hughes PM, also added his congratulations wishing that the long serving brethren would to be long spared to wear the jewels.

Supper was served following the installations.
