P0UPILS
from St Patrick's High School, Lisburn recently attended Bow Street Mall
to entertain local shoppers. Thirty seven pupils in total were involved
and for many this was their first public performance.
The
programme included individual singers, violin players, a choral group,
guitar and drums players and Irish dancers. Many of these students are
currently undertaking graded examinations through the tuition service
provided by the school. An appreciative audience of shoppers provided
encouragement for the pupils and they were delighted with the positive
feedback. St Patrick's is very grateful for the support shown by the
public during this performance.
The school's music department, meanwhile, continues its development with its most recent venture entailing a workshop with the Boston City Singers.
