HISTORY

The congregation was formed in the late 1940’s and for several years they met in various rented buildings in the Lisburn area. In the 1970’s about half of the present site at Gregg Street was acquired and a temporary building was erected by members of the congregation led by Mr. Peter Hill. The work was completed in just 90 days.

A few years later the whole site at Gregg Street was acquired and members of the congregation built the present hall. Work began in 1977 and the hall was opened and dedicated on 20th November 1982.

The Presiding Overseer at the Kingdom Hall, Lisburn is Mr. Jim Ireland who succeeded Graham Catney in 1994.
